Product of the month archive

My selection for product of the week is Gimp. Gimp is like photoshop, but free. I use it for most of my graphic design. Check it out!!!

My selection for product of the month is MP3myMP3. Confused by the name? Don't be...I don't understand it either and it doesn't matter. MP3myMP3 records the sounds from your pc. Whether you love the sound of windows startup and want it on your ipod, or you want a recording of Hillary explaining how she went all Rambo with Sinbad in the 90's. It doesn't sound the greatest, but who cares its free and I hate paying for anything. Check it out!

My selection for product of the month is Netvibes. Netvibes is an interactive website that you can use as a homepage to access a wide variety of info. It's easy to use, and allows you to check weather, e-mail, ebay, read news, search with google, make a to-do-list, and a ton of other things. The only service it doesn't provide is letting you know when your mother-in-law is on her way over. Check it out anyway.

My selection for product of the week is Notepad++. Notepad++ is like Notepad on Barry Bonds' secret sauce. I use it for web design. Check it out!!!

My selection for product of the week is Open Office. Open Office is like Microsoft Office. It will open and edit Word docs, Excel spreadsheets, etc. As with everything else I use it's free, like my mother-in-law's advice, but you asked for this freebie.

My selection for product of the week is Portable Apps. Portable Apps provide a series of free programs that run on a USB jump drive.

My selection for product of the month is Hulu.com. Don't be fooled by the mysterious Pacific Island sounding name. Pretend its called mykidsarenthereandidon'thavetowatchthewiggles.com. I'm not saying they have every TV show and movie ever made, but they do have a pretty sweet selection ranging from The A-team to The Office, and a nice movie selection as well. Check it out, but don't tell my wife I'm watching TV at work.
